I’ve been looking recently at trying to create invoice templates that you can use in your business as part of our Business Toolbox series. I came across a piece of software a few months back that while pretty basic in nature actually has the potential to help many businesses who’s invoicing and billing needs are pretty basic. Just to point out that i’m not being paid to promote this software, i’m doing it because I genuinely believe it’s a great tool for small businesses.
Invoicing Software by SliqTools
I’ve put some of the main features I like below:-
- The Invoice templates are superb and will certainly give you a professional image.
- The set-up is very easy. You’ll be raising invoices in no time!
- Multi-Company – A great feature which means if you have a few ventures they can all be run through it.
- Quote facility – Great for trades people etc. And you can convert a quote to an invoice easily.
I think I need to point out that this isn’t accounts software. The basic premise is that it allows you to invoice your customers and also track who’s paid you and who hasn’t. For a one-off cost of less than £30 I have to say that this is a great buy and yes I do have a copy myself!
I’ll just add as well that it seems very well supported and the software is updated on a regular basis. This is maybe an overlooked area but it is important that there is support there if you need it.
Maybe at some point in the future I will get around to seeing what other products are out there that are similar so that we can run a test across a few different offerings. For now though Sliq invoicing really does do everything you need it to do.
If you use other products yourself or indeed use Sliq Invoicing then we would love to hear your thoughts in our comment section.
